It's been a fairly bleak day. There has been rain, on and off and it has been quite windy. This must be what it's like to live in Wales during the summer. The Gorse Fox noticed today that, again, Bognor Regis has been recognised as the sunniest place in the UK over the last year.
Most of the day today has been spent wandering through the dense foliage of the family tree.
A cousin in Suffolk had sent some updates, some ancillary research revealed some further updates, and a gentle wander through some old albums provided some photos that the Gorse Fox thought would illustrate the books very well.
This photo is the Gorse Fox's Great-grandfather outside the farm he bought, at Chart Sutton, after passing his greengrocery business to his son (the Gorse Fox's grandfather).
No huge breakthroughs, but small enhancements all over the place.
Urban-Cub popped round just before 18:00. She dropped Ellie off as Urban-Cub has an early start in the morning. Ellie will stay with us overnight, and we will sort her out for school in the morning.
