It was a fairly typical Tuesday. We took Ellie to Dizzy Duckling, meeting up with her friend Bonnie and her mum on the way. Then the Gorse Fox headed off to Worthing for his football.
Football was very enjoyable, as usual. The Gorse Fox was a little concerned that the new football boots would a) dazzle everyone, and b) rub. They are, after all, still quite tight. It turns out that they are quiet comfortable once you start to move about and run on them. The Gorse Fox’s team did well. We won’t the first game 3-0, drew the second game 1-1, and won the last game 2-0.
Back home the Gorse Fox grabbed some lunch then phoned the Sales Office for the development. This Joni Mitchell plan (“pave paradise and put in a parking lot”)needs more ammunition. Addresses of execs and indeed the MD were forthcoming and an email has been sent to the developer’s solicitor for some clarification.
We collected Ellie from pre-school and spent the rest of the afternoon looking after her, then took her home to await the return of Urban-Cub just before 8 pm.
