It has been another stunning day on the South Coast. No cloud has dared show its face. It has been wall-to-wall blue skies (as it should be, here in Sussex).
The Sonning Crew turned up for elevenses. Coffee was provided, with biscuits. After a while, more coffee was provided, with more biscuits. Then some wine was provided. Then some more wine. Then some more wine, still. It was a very sociable middle to the day.
After the Crew had gone, we sat down for an hour before being summoned to see Urban-Cub and Ellie. A little gardening no-how was imparted and some flowerpots moved. Then we headed back home.
The Gorse Fox cocked up dinner. He had decided to try one of the spice mixes the he received for Christmas (or was it his birthday). Either way, he tried a "Durban" mix. tHis did not go down well with the Silver Vixen. It was much too hot and spicy for her. In the end, the Gorse Fox had to do her some toast and marmalade instead. Not his finest hour! (Though it was a nice curry).
