The Gorse Fox and the Silver Vixen have spent the day on their respective hobbies. The Silver Vixen has been in here sewing room, and the Gorse Fox in his study. We have taken it in turns to go and fetch cups of tea.
From the point of view of the Gorse Fox it has been a bit of a thankless slog. He has been working through 350 pages of a book of Law families. As he checked each the text on each person he then changed the default captions on each of the illustrations so that they a) appeared in chronological order, and b) they more accurately described the image. There were hundreds of them. Census records, baptism records, marriage records, burial records, probate information, and who knows what else. It's amazing what the Gorse Fox has dug up over the years.
In the end, the Gorse Fox got bored. He switched over and started to update the personal notes for various people in the tree. It was tedious, but progress was made.
Urban-Cub has just dropped Ellie with us. She is staying overnight as Urban-Cub has to open up the shop at 5:00 tomorrow. As the Gorse Fox writes this, the Silver Vixen is helping Ellie get washed and ready for bed.
