The high winds of the last 24 hours have finally died down. The Gorse Fox had to collect our garden chairs from random locations round the garden and pick up a couple of our potted acres which had been blown over. There was no damage though.
The early morning call with the cousins went fairly well. Unfortunately, Sam, who runs the calls was with her mum and trying to teach her how to run the call in time for next week. Every time she pointed something out or explained something it would override the audio from other participants and it rather broke the flow of conversation.
The Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox had an outing planned. We were meeting up with J&T in Chiddingfold for lunch. We pottered off across country and after a short diversion at Petworth (where the road was closed), were soon there.
We had a lovely three hours or so, just chatting and generally catching up on each other’s news. The Gorse Fox had taken a copy of the book of the “Laws” to show them and elicit more input. Next time we see them, we will all be down in Cornwall for about a week. That’s only a few weeks away now.
Back home the Gorse Fox returned to the current issue regarding the fate of the formal gardens. Brochures were photocopied and he spent some time at the Sales Office talking to one of the long-term sales people. More data is still required, but things are certainly starting to align.
