There had been rain overnight, but it was bright and sunny when we got up, and it remained like that for the rest of the day. Urban-cub dropped Ellie off just before 7:30 and we sorted her out with breakfast and got her washed and dressed for school. We walked her round to Dizzy Ducklings, as usual, and then strolled home.
The Silver Vixen was booked for Zoom Pilates, so the Gorse Fox left her to it and headed off to Worthing for football. We had a really good game, played in the spirit. The Gorse Fox had a couple of shots that scampered past the wrong side of the post, and one left-footed volley straight into the goal. Unfortunately, the Gorse Fox was deemed to have run too fast (as if he would!) to get the ball, so the goal was crossed off. Despite this, we still managed to win with a final score of about 6-0.
Back home we have collected Ellie from the Dizzy Ducklings, and the Gorse Fox has just entered this week's Ocado order.
