A Touch of Normal

The weather today has been outstanding. It has been warm, sunny, and clear blue skies since dawn. This is what we expect on the South Coast… none of this rain nonsense you see in Wales and up North. Rain is necessary, but should only fall at night!

As the title says, there was a touch of “normal” when we met up with the rest of the Sonning Crew for coffee in Lady Penelope and Old Bill’s garden this morning. It was so nice to all get together again and just shoot the breeze. The only problem was that much of their garden was in the shade in the morning… but as the time wore on, the sun swung round. We enjoyed it so much that we invited them back here for coffee tomorrow.

The Silver Vixen has spent the afternoon pottering in the garden, making sure everything was neat and tidy for tomorrow. The Gorse Fox popped to Sainsbury’s for biscuits (and wine) for tomorrow… and then started on dinner.
