The Gorse Fox was thinking about how brilliantly some of the delivery companies are organised. Early afternoon on Friday, he ordered a new sweater. The order was acknowledged at about 13:30 and shipped to DPD for delivery. By 16:09 the sweater was in the Exetet hub. By 02:15 on Saturday, it was at their central hub in Hinckley. Just after 09:00 it reached Portsmouth and was put on a van for delivery. By 12:45, it was delivered. What's more, the Gorse Fox had been able to track it every step of the way.
Technology is wonderful when used well.
