The Gorse Fox was expecting a bit of a lie-in. Ellie was at home and he didn't need to get up to greet her. Jasper had other ideas. At 7:00 (ok, that's 15 minutes later than the normal alarm) he started to walk all over us. Enough was enough. The Gorse Fox got up and pottered downstairs to let him out and to make the first coffee of the morning.
The Gorse Fox performed his usual escort duties. Ellie was in a grumpy mood again this morning. She has a bit of a cough and it may be annoying her. She did, finally, snap out of it just as it was time to go into class.
Back home, the Silver Vixen had an appointment at the hairdresser. The Gorse Fox got on with some chores and checked the Premium Bonds (yes, we won again this month - not a lot but it was good to win). Next on his agenda was to take a look at Ellie's Amazon Kindle Fire Kids+ tablet. This has been complaining about a shortage of storage of late. The Gorse Fox had to work out how to clear the storage (particularly when he had forgotten his PIN). At first, he thought it would require a factory reset. He was lucky, however, and managed to remember the PIN. The storage was cleared out and the Gorse Fox installed an extra 32GB on a min SDCard. Everything is now working beautifully.
The Gorse Fox has extracted the whole of this blog for 2021. This has now been opened up with MS Word and is going through spellcheck (a bit late you might say) and some formatting. When finished it will be turned into a PDF file. In general, the process has worked pretty well, but the aspect ratios for all of the photos are wrong. That will take a second pass.
The afternoon was spent sitting in the lounge with the Silver Vixen reading our respective Kindles.
