It was a grey start to the day but as time wore on, it brightened and the sun burst through. After a lengthy breakfast, the Gorse Fox stripped the kitchen then vacuumed and steam-cleaned the floors. The Silver Vixen went to the local pharmacy to collect her meds.
Later, the Gorse Fox returned to his editing on the 2018 blog extract. This occupied the rest of the morning. It made interesting reading as he got the chance to reminisce over Kim's brief trip home from Thailand, our first trip to Jamaica, a family wedding, and Ellie's second year. There are a further few months to process, but there is no hurry.
After lunch, the Gorse Fox sat in the Orangery, soaking up the warm sun, and finishing a book. The Silver Vixen went out to do some tidying up in the garden.
That's it for today. A gloriously uneventful day.
