Urban-Cub changed her shifts so, despite us getting up early to receive Ellie, we weren't needed until school time when the Gorse Fox walked round to act as escort on the school run.
Back home we loaded the car and headed across to Angmering and Worthing for the Silver Vixen's Pilates and the Gorse Fox's football. The teams today were remarkably well balanced and we had a really enjoyable game. Like last time, the Gorse Fox found himself playing more in midfield than defence. He enjoyed this as he was able to help control the play and spray the ball around the pitch. He didn't manage to score but he did have 3 assists.
After collecting Ellie from school, the Gorse Fox again took her to the park. It was still too chilly for the Silver Vixen to hang around so she headed home. We stayed at the park for about 20 minutes then headed home for a warm-up and for Ellie to get on with some homework that was set overnight and has to be in on Monday. She hasn't managed to finish it but she's a good half-way through.
As usual for a Wednesday, Ellie is staying with us overnight.
