Ellie was being dropped off at 7:20 so the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen were up and about in plenty of time. Urban-Cub was due at a training session in Southampton... or at least she through she was. It dawned on her several miles up the road that she had the date wrong, and the course is tomorrow. It made little difference to us. Ellie would still be with us for most of the day, but Urban-Cub had to change he plans and go into the store.
Other than the usual shopping delivery and top-ups the day has been focussed on Ellie. Having said that, she has been no trouble at all and got on with various activities to keep herself amused, only requiring our intervention or participation occasionally.
The Gorse Fox was determined to use the Instant Pot as a Slo-Cooker. This was the first time he had attempted to use this feature. Lamb was seared and the onions, carrots, red peppers, tomatoes, and kidney beans added along with some park, chilli powder, and lamb stock. It was then switched to the medium setting and left for 8 hours, Though the carrots were still a bit crunchy, everything else was delicious.
