Ooops

 The Gorse Fox was conscious that there is meant to be an Over-65s lunch at his old school. This is scheduled for 5th October. The problem is that there is nothing appearing on the Alumni calendar and there has been no announcement regarding booking attendance. The Gorse Fox took it on himself to phone the Alumni Office. The young lady who answered the phone has only been in post for a couple of weeks. Her boss is off sick. She knew nothing about this and there's nothing in her book. A tone of panic crept in to her voice. "I'll have to speak to Headmaster" she said. The Gorse Fox considered this. The Headmaster is also new in post - chances are he knows nothing about it either! The Gorse Fox sent her the last Newsletter where the event had been advertised.

We will wait and see what happens... but he suspects the 5th October is a non-starter (and as there is a train strike that day, he isn't too concerned).
