It's been a mixed day weather-wise. Certainly not a day that encourages you to go out. The Gorse Fox and Ellie were up first for our usual quiet hour before everyone else emerged. After breakfast Urban-Cub got Ellie ready and took her across to stay with Pistol Pete for the weekend. For much of the rest of the day Urban-Cub was in and out.
The Silver Vixen spent the day with here sewing. The tapestry-like advent calendar is nearly finished.
The Gorse Fox spent most of the day in the study. He had returned to an old conundrum. How can he resurrect some old files that were written in a word processor called Amipro. He has managed to find some install files for Amipro but obviously needs an operating system on which it will run. He played with DOSBox but couldn't get a successful old Windows system running. He tried WINE and got as far as running the Amipro installation - but that failed halfway through. He then thought of VirtualBox, but needs a back-level version of that because he has to run a 32-bit system on it. He couldn't find one that would run on his iMac. This can wait until tomorrow.
Urban-Cub went out to see a friend in Angmering and stay overnight. This left the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen home alone. As the title says, Alone Again (un)Naturally!
Goodness, it's quiet.
