We are approaching Halloween. Ellie is excited by the spectacle that it has become, but won't be with us at the weekend. She'll also be out with Urban-Cub visiting the Princess tomorrow, so Urban-Cub and the Silver Vixen decided that we had to bring things forward.
After a fairly typical Thursday morning, dealing with Ocado, the Accounts, then a trip to collect some medicines from the pharmacy and a top-up at Sainsbury's we headed home and settled in for the afternoon. The Gorse Fox spent the afternoon on the computer. Not because he had anything specific to do, but in order to stay clear of Urban-Cub and the Silver Vixen as they decorated the living room for Ellie.
They clearly had fun as the noise wafted through the house and Ellie occasionally shouted from the bottom of the stairs "Grandpa we need help". The Gorse Fox helped, then retreated again.
They have done a pretty good job, all things being considered. We have illuminated pumpkins strung in the windows.
We have spiders and webs strung across the bay
