It was still quite dark as the Gorse Fox and Ellie came down this morning. She made herself comfortable and instructed the Gorse Fox as to where her fruit juice should be placed. She then settled down to the cartoons while he made his coffee.
The Silver Vixen had an appointment during the morning. Urban-cub and the Gorse Fox took the opportunity, as Ellie was being inquisitive, to check the manual for the new car and see if we could crack the conundrum of how to play music off of her iPhone through the car's entertainment system. The answer is no, we couldn't. She now has it on her list of things to do to pop into a dealer and ask for some guidance.
This afternoon Urban-cub had an appointment, so the Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox took Ellie down to the play area at West Fields. It was extremely blowy as we got out of the car, but the play area is well sheltered by the trees so it wasn't too bad.
We had great fun for an hour or so. To begin with, we were the only people in the play area, but as the school day ended, more children started to arrive.
Ellie charged from swing to slide, slide to rocking horse, rocking horse to zip-line, zip-line back to swing, and so it went on. We had a brief interlude where the Gorse Fox bought some ice creams, but as soon as they were finished the circuit started again.
Today looks to be the last dry day of the week so the Gorse Fox is glad we got out. He has football scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday and expects to get very wet.
