It can be quite a hassle dealing with refund requests. Our vacation in Jamaica, in addition the the Virgin Holidays package, had a number of ancillary services booked around it. One by one, refunds were requested back at the beginning of the pandemic. Acknowledgements were received, and in most cases the refunds have occurred. Two, however, are outstanding. One from Virgin Holidays, and one from the VIP Meet & Greet service. This latter one has proved puzzling. Back in March they acknowledged our claim, and said that the refund would take between 60 and 90 days. A bit slow, but in the circumstances, acceptable. Overnight the Gorse Fox has received a further acknowledgement from them, offering several options, for for word the same as that received in March. The Gorse Fox responded that he had answered their email 68 days ago and they had acknowledged its receipt and promised the refund in 60-90 days... The Gorse Fox is concerned that they are trying to reset the clock. We wait.
It's been a relatively uneventful day. The Silver Vixen has been pottering with the flowers, Urban-Cub has been looking after Ellie, and the Gorse Fox has redeveloped an old video from our trip to Barcelona in 2005 and curated a new one from our trip to Seville in 2008.
