Fiesta time

Well after so many days that tend to blend into each other, there was a bit of a change today. Urban-Cub had to go up to work and won't be back until tomorrow and Ellie was collected at lunchtime by Pistol Pete and will spend the afternoon with him.

With Urban-Cub at work, we moved the Silver Vixen's car and the Gorse Fox gave it a good wash to remove the accumulated dust of the last few weeks. He also fired up the Fiesta. It took two or three goes, but the engine fired and he reversed out of the garage for the first time in about 10 weeks. There was method to the madness. He had contacted the chappie in Worthing who does the video transcoding and he was able to accept a couple of tapes. The Gorse Fox arranged to drop them in during the early afternoon, and decided to take the fiesta to give it a bit of a run. There were no problems. It ran as sweet as a bell and the Gorse Fox even managed to get up to 49.9 mpg out of it, despite the effort the alternator was probably having to put in to get the battery fully charged again.

Ellie will be be back after tea, and G-Force will be in charge over night.
