Excitement

A day full of excitement. This morning Urban-Cub had to go back to LA for the formal valuation of her old house. The results are already in, the document has been sent to the right agency, and they have confirmed everything is good to go.

The Gorse Fox got chatting with Old Bill (from a resettable distance, of course). He is looking at getting a new laptop. A few weeks ago he was considering a Lenovo, but now he is seriously contemplating making the life-affirming switch to Apple and getting a MacBook. The Gorse Fox could only encourage such a move.

This afternoon we all went in to Chichester. The Silver Vixen wanted to look for some fabric for a dress for Ellie, Ellie wanted to tag along, and Urban-Cub was bullied into joining us by Ellie. The Gorse Fox had an appointment at the chiropodist. Despite an amber warning for thunderstorms and lightning, it remained dry and pleasantly warm. The Gorse Fox was impressed that all of shops he looked in were taking the use of hand sanitiser and of masks very seriously. Even walking down the streets, most people had masks round their necks ready to don on entry to a shop.

After 87 days of lockdown and with such an exciting day behind him, the Gorse Fox may have to lie down with a cucumber eye-mask for the evening.
