Urban-Cub had a late start today. This meant that the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen didn't need to set the alarm. We were still up soon after 7:00 and the Gorse Fox wandered round to escort Urban-Cub and Ellie to school. It was very cold this morning but it didn't seem to trouble Ellie.
Once home, caffeinated and sustained by some porridge, the Gorse Fox returned to his research. Today's objective was to check on some siblings of his 2nd Gt-grandfather. A DNA match, seen yesterday, identified a different wife for Albert from that recorded by the Gorse Fox. It took most of the morning, and all the research was re-checked. Some gaps were filled in (more spackle) but in the end, the Gorse Fox is convinced his research stands scrutiny and identifies the correct wife.
It was a fruitful day. He managed to chase down 3 or 4 DNA matches and prove where the families intersect.
We collected Ellie at 3:15 and she is staying with us overnight.
