We had a quiet start to the day. Urban-Cub had a day off so we didn't have to help with Ellie before school. No alarms were set. We just got up when we wanted. The Gorse Fox did wander round so that he could walk with them to school. Back home he changed for football and drove across to Worthing.
The day and the times have changed for the Silver Vixen's Pilates, and she made the most of a quiet morning by burying herself in her sewing.
The Gorse Fox's football was a bit of a continuation from yesterday. The Gorse Fox's passing was still far from accurate. What was worse was that we were one man short, and one of our team wasn't very mobile. Surprisingly, we were ahead 4-3 at the half-time break. The Gorse Fox knew that would not last, as our less mobile player would tire and the extra man on the other team would start to make a difference. He was right. They started to score with moderate ease. The Gorse Fox didn't help by forgetting which colour he was representing and quite deliberately passed the ball directly to one of their attackers. He in turn rattled the ball into the goal. Doh! The final score was about 9-6 to the wrong side.
Back at home the Silver Vixen was still sewing and the Gorse Fox retired to the family tree. Today's focus was on his 2nd Gt grandparents' family on his mother's side. A few more gaps have been filled in, but there were no major breakthroughs.
