The Gorse Fox received the digital copies of his uncle's National Service records from the RAF. Considering the price tag, he was spectacularly disappointed with what came back. Other than provided a couple of dates, it didn't reveal a single fact that the Gorse Fox did not already know. It certainly failed to confirm various stories that he remembers from the uncle's time in the RAF... not necessarily because they were untrue but more likely because of the paucity of the detail that was recorded by the RAF at the time.
