Ellie slept well and at seven o'clock started to talk to her dolls and even sing to them. She was perfectly content for about half and hour, but then she wanted to get up and see Nana. The Gorse Fox went and fetched her... and so the day started.
In the mix and confusion of last night, Cousteau-Cub had dropped her phone in Trevor's car. The Gorse Fox arranged to meet him in Chiddingfold for a coffee and to retrieve the phone. The roads were empty and it was a very pleasant drive there and back. While enjoying a brief chat and the coffee, the Gorse Fox helped set Trevor up with Google Photos (this seems to be becoming a bit of a theme!).
The Gorse Fox dropped the phone off with Cousteau-Cub on the way back through, then returned home to play with Ellie. She was in a very playful mood having done some painting with the Silver Vixen and some modelling with the play dough.
We moved into the lounge where she insisted on hiding. In the end, the Gorse Fox built her a little camp in which she could shelter. This was all very fine until she asked him to get in also. He tried his best, but decided he was too big and not flexible enough to hide in there.
Urban-Cub collected Ellie early in the afternoon. The Gorse Fox and the Silver Vixen had half an hour of quiet time, then the Gorse Fox retired to the study and returned to the creation of the photo book. It was worth trying to get it finished as there was a 40% discount available until the end of the weekend. It took a couple of hours or so but finally the project was complete and submitted for printing. We should have about a week to wait for it to be delivered.
