Do Not Disturb

It has been a day for pottering around.

The first order of the day was to get some hotel rooms booked for an overnight stay in Cardiff. The Gorse Fox managed to get a good deal and has rooms for Urban-Cub and Cousteau-Cub and Ellie, and one for us.

Thinking about hotels he was aware that he still had not received confirmation that the hotel in Salcombe had been cancelled (even though his Expedia account clearly said it had). With his healthy paranoia kicking in, he phoned the hotel. Sure enough the cancellation had not come through. He ended up having to call Expedia, explain the predicament and they sorted out the cancellation then and there. (Very good service).

The Silver Vixen has been doing an inventory of her threads and checking some of her colours for a pattern she intends to develop.

The Gorse Fox has spent most of the time selecting the next 5-years of photographs. In doing so he found some anomalies, and these took some tracking down. Fortunately, his private blog was able to fill in various dates where he had previously made some rash assumptions. He now has a subset of photos ready for the next photo book. Whether they all get used is doubtful, but they are a good and representative subset.

The Gorse Fox has heard from Cousteau-Cub. Their broadband connection is now active and she was busy setting up her various services. It's good that she's now back online, and consequently contactable at home.
