Improving

The Gorse Fox is feeling a bit better today. The weather is bright, though cold and the Gorse Fox has decided that football will have to wait. He isn't going to make things worse by spending several hours running run in the cold.

As it happens Ellie is also a bit better, but not well enough to go to the child minder. We went along to collect her and she could spend the day with us. She was back to her usual chirpy self, though maybe not quite as active as usual. We managed to resist the call for Peppa Pig until late morning, but then the TV had to be switched to YouTube so she could have the requisite background noise.

The Gorse Fox managed to squeeze in a trip to Sainsbury's. Though the aisles were quiet the checkouts were very busy. He switched to the self-service till and was through in a trice... despite using Apple Pay and the online image of his Nectar card.

Urban-Cub finished her shift and went home for a couple of hours sleep before come along to collect Ellie. She's now got four days off... and clearly needs them!
