Foul

It was pretty foul again today. A soaking mist and drizzle permeated everything throughout the morning. It was dar, grey and meteorologically horrible.

The Gorse Fox had football this morning, but in the lead up to the game he was distracted by background thoughts regarding the new childcare spreadsheet for Urban-Cub, her new Child Minder, and the schedule for 2019. Once he was changed and kicking the ball about he snapped into the right mindset. The Gorse Fox was playing for the Orange-bibs today and we had a good game. The final score was about 9 (or 10) to 6. Two of the goals came from the Gorse Fox and he provided assists for three or four more. It was a good stretch and good game.

(Talking of football, the Gorse Fox has scored 81 goals so far this year and run/walked about 530km).

The afternoon has been spent back on the spreadsheet. Now that his mind was fairly clear he was able to rattle through the coding and has released the first version to Urban-Cub for her to review.

Talking of spreadsheets, Excel (and Word) wouldn't start on the iMac (Condor). In the end the Gorse Fox downloaded the latest version of the autoupdated and reran the last updates. Everything is now working properly. The Gorse Fox has no idea why it had failed initially.
