I was up early again to greet Ellie when she was dropped off. She, however, was barely conscious and went straight upstairs and got into bed with Nana and dropped off to sleep. I sat in peaceful solitude for 90 minutes before Diane came down. Ellie was still out for the count. I left it as long as I could before going up to get washed and dressed. She slept through it all. In fact, I was sitting in the Orangery on a Zoom call with the cousins before she finally emerged.
I spent much of the morning "consuming" documents into the "Paperless-ngx" document management system. Though it consumes the documents with ease, each one has to be checked to ensure the indexing is correct. It's tedious but it is worthwhile.
At lunchtime we organised a raid on Sainsbury's to pick up a new clock for Ellie's room from Argos. We weren't out for too long, but it was nice to emerge from our four walls.
I spent the afternoon consuming more documents. I now have all of my tax records, salary records, and pension records fully indexed and filed. I have now started on all of our insurance records. (Meanwhile, the integration with Gmail has been on hold. I need a concerted chunk of time to get back to that.)
Zoe collected Ellie soon after 16:00. A quiet evening with a film is planned.
