We woke up this morning to hear that Old Bill had been taken to theatre overnight and may not survive. We were dreadfully concerned and the Silver Vixen volunteered to go a sit with Lady Penelope until one of their sons arrived. The offer was declined so she was still here when Ellie was dropped off at 7:15. We went through the usual morning paraphernalia and eventually dropped Ellie at school.
Back home we had a quiet morning wading through the last of the Christmas present lists and putting the onus on Amazon to deliver to us. The latest software was released by Apple for the iPhone, iPad, iWatch, and iMac overnight. The Gorse Fox took the opportunity to get the changes installed across the board.
Were finally got some news that Old ~Bill was out of surgery and that it had gone well. He would obviously be in ICU/HDU and that Lady Penelope and one of the sons would visit as soon as the hospital gave the go ahead.
We collected Ellie from school and she is quite excited that there is only one more day at school before the Christmas break. We've just finished dinner and the Silver Vixen is now helping her get washed and ready for bed.
