It was another very cold night. Ellie slept through and checked with us that she could use her tablet at 6:30 before leaving us to doze until the Gorse Fox got up at 7:00. ~She was full of the joys of Spring and eager to play teachers. This involved here giving the Gorse Fox a series of "number sentences" to complete and her marking the results. The Gorse Fox has a feeling this should have worked the other way round, but it kept her happy and kept her thinking.
After the school drop, the Gorse Fox returned for breakfast. The Silver Vixen was scheduled to meet up with Gracie Fields for lunch and so she went to get ready while the Gorse Fox set about steam cleaning the floors. It ws as he finished this that the doorbell rang. It was Tinkerbell. She had knocked to say that Old Bill had been very unwell (probably a reaction to his Chemo) and that she and Two Hats had had to take them to the hospital. He was was kept in and they have set about stabilising his system. It is, obviously, concerning.
With the Silver Vixen out, the Gorse Fox spent some time filing and categorising a batch of photos. After lunch he settled down with his book until it was time to collect Ellie.
Ellie has clearly mastered the iPhone. Both the Silver Vixen and the Gorse Fox have received calls from her this evening on Urban-Cub's phone. Heaven help us if (or maybe when) she gets a phone of her own.
