Gosh we had a lot of rain today. The temperature, however, has soared to about 12C, which is a huge leap from last week.
The Gorse Fox took the opportunity to walk into the village and get his hair cut. He clearly timed it to perfection (other than getting soaked) as he was able to sit straight down in the chair and be seen immediately. There was a steady stream of punters arriving and by the time he left, all the barbers were working flat out and all the seats in the waiting area were taken.
Mid afternoon we headed across to Brighton to spend some time with the Silver Vixen's cousins and aunt. The traffic wasn't as bad as expected, but the weather was foul. We had a lovely few hours with them and enjoyed some fish and chips from their local chippie. We heard all about their recent holiday in Singapore and Langkawi. It did sound very nice, and the thought of Singapore is quite enticing... though Langkawi less so.
