Quiet Day

It has been a quiet day. It started earlier than strictly necessary when Jasper decided to start singing at the end of our bed. The Silver Vixen may be able to ignore it, but the Gorse Fox can't. As it was about 7:00, the Gorse Fox got up and took Jasper downstairs and let him out into the garden.

The rest of the morning was fairly quiet and uneventful. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the temperature was rising and it promised to be a wonderful day.

The Gorse Fox had a few bits and pieces to do. He had been asked to put a team together for a friendly game of football this Friday. It was short notice. In the end, we only had a single player available. Game cancelled... but no great loss as they are a dirty team and several of our players refused to play them again.

Yet again, The Gorse Fox had to go and fill the Fiesta with petrol. This is getting silly. It's the third time this year!

The rest of the day has been spent with our books.

By the way, it's the Wedding Anniversary of the Gorse Fox's little sister and brother-in-law. A day worth celebrating, so congratulations to them both.
