The day started grey but despite the apparent threat, there was no rain. Officially we have have had 0mm of rain in the last month.
The Gorse Fox headed off to Worthing for the football. The roads were quiet but various signs warned of roadworks for the next few weeks along the usual route.
Football was less than satisfying. We lost all three games. The Gorse Fox doesn't mind winning or losing as long has he plays well. Today he was dreadful. He wasn't reading the game, he felt lethargic, and those passes that didn't go astray were usually intercepted. Dreadful. (It must be what the Arsenal team feel like after every game).
When he got home, he found that Cousteau-Cub had dropped in on her way through. She didn't stay too long, but it was nice to see her. Apparently, the big fridge that the Gorse Fox helped with has now been cleaned up and moved into the house. Quite a bargain at £80... given their price when new is over £1000.
Talking of bargains, the Silver Vixen had a pleasant win on the Premium Bonds this month. Not huge, but enough.
The grey morning gave way to a lovely sunny afternoon which the Gorse Fox enjoyed while reading in the Orangery (the Silver Vixen was in her sewing room, working on her latest project).
