The Gorse Fox's father was in the Royal Navy and was assigned to HMCS Ontario as his first ship. As a result he spent at least a year or 18 months assigned to the Canadian Navy. The Gorse Fox wrote to them before Christmas asking for details of his posting. They have finally got back.
Nada.
Not a thing.
As far as they are concerned they have no records of his, or his twin's time on board. This is deeply frustrating. It seems that even the Gorse Fox has more knowledge of the Minotaur class light cruiser and its first mission in the Far East than the Canadian Naval records.
