Ellie didn't stir until 6:45. Even that seemed early, given the disturbed evening we had with her. Lesson: don't allow her to drink coke after swimming.
Urban-Cub arrived in time for her and the Gorse Fox to escort Ellie round to school. By the time he got back, the Silver Vixen was heading out to the Optician in order to collect he new glasses. The Gorse Fox used the time to catch up on the accounts and write to the landscaper about some work we want done in the garden.
Later in the morning we headed in to Chichester. The Silver Vixen wanted to look at some shoes and the Gorse Fox had an appointment with the chiropodist. The Silver Vixen was unable to find any shoes that she liked. She did, however, have her feet scanned and analysed in Shuropody. This was very interesting and showed that she rolled one of her feet as she walked.
Lunch was next on the agenda. We stopped at Crispin's. It is always good value and excellent food. The Silver Vixen had a huge Belgian waffle whilst the Gorse Fox enjoyed a Chicken and BLT.
Back home, the first order was to deal with all of the cat vomit. Jasper had clearly been unwell. He had left his outpourings in the hall and all over the living room. (In fact later, the Gorse Fox found that he had also "blessed" the Silver Vixen's sewing room). This was no small "gift". This was epic. The Gorse Fox and the Silver Vixen spent the next 30 minutes trying to return the carpets to an acceptable state. Suufice it to say, that there was more to come later in the day... and will will clearly have to monitor him.
Old Bill and Tinkerbell arrived back from Jamaica. We had their security fob, so they popped in to see us. The Silver Vixen was out collecting Ellie from school with Urban-Cub. The Gorse Fox dealt with them and heard their analysis of the holiday, some of which was a little concerning for the future of SRP... greed, however, tends to overtake good taste and refinement. Time will tell whether their plans will work.
