This morning's start was much as yesterday. The Gorse Fox went round to Urban-Cub and escorted her and Ellie to school then headed home. There was a quick change and then the Gorse Fox headed off for football.
We had a very relaxed 7-v-7 today. Some good football was played by both sides. The Gorse Fox marshalled the back line and we held out until about 5 minutes from the end, when we finally conceded a goal. It was just the one, though, and we were already 2 goals ahead (one of which was scored by the Gorse Fox). There were some wild shots today. We lost 3 separate balls over the fences and onto adjoining pitches. We were running out of spares. (At the end of the game all the balls were retrieved.)
This afternoon the Gorse Fox spent about 30 minutes on the Polish links. He suspects that he has identified Agent Mulderski's 3rd and 4th greta grandparents. This, however, can only be verified by getting access to some Polish certificates. He must find out out if there is a good way to do this.
Ellie is with us overnight, tonight.
