Well that was a very nice evening, yesterday. The Sonning Crew popped round for some bubbles and nibbles before we hopped on the bus into Bognor Regis. A 25 yard stroll from the bus stop took us to the restaurant and we were shown to a very comfortable table in the already busy restaurant.
As all previous visits, the food was simply superb. The Gorse Fox started with asian styled pork belly followed by chicken-stuffed halibut. It was wonderful. The others had the salmon (which the Gorse Fox tried last time) and beef cheeks which had gone down so well last time.
For the sweet course, the others all went for creme brûlée whereas the Gorse Fox chose the treacle tart with salted caramel and ice cream.
We stayed and chatted until it was time to stroll back to the bus stop. Ten minutes later we were home.
