Frustration

 The day started with the weekly call with the cousins. None of the Aussies were on the call today but though sparse it was good fun.

After the call the Gorse Fox plunged back into the family tree. There was an immediate breakthrough - he found the names of his 3-times Great grandfathers in Ireland (Patrick Kane, and Joseph William Temple). This breakthrough was bound to open up a huge treasure trove of information, wasn't it? NO. It opened up six hours of pouring through records in English and Latin and not finding one single additional morsel of information. The Gorse Fox knows he has been doing this for 30 years now but even still it always looks so easy when you watch "Who Do You Think You Are?". In practise it can been the most immensely frustrating hobby imaginable.
