Oh boy! it certain;y was a lazy start to the day. There was no football scheduled (we could only muster 8 players) so there was no real impetus to get up and going.
Once breakfast was sorted the Gorse Fox returned to the family tree. He had had an idea and pursued a different route into the Irish records. This proved fruitful. He eventually found access to the Irish records and, with a bit of patience, he found several marriage certificates for his 2nd Get-grandparents. This, in turn, revealed further details about them and their fathers. It was satisfying to find this new information, but still frustrating that he couldn't drive the information any further. Anyway, it was interesting to find that his 2nd gt-grandparents were both school teachers.
