The Gorse Fox didn't set his alarm. His plan was to to sleep until he woke naturally. He woke naturally five minutes before his alarm would have gone off. Pah!
He left early for football. This week it proved to be the right decision as parking spaces were few and far between. There were plenty of matches being played on the outdoor pitches and all of the players and followers had come by car.
The Gorse Fox had set the teams up pretty well this week. The algorithm was pretty close. He did swap two players as both goalkeepers ended up on one side initially. We also had an imbalance to handle with 6-vs-5 which we adjust at half-time to move one player and make it 5-vs-6. At halftime, the Gorse Fox was 3-1 down but one of our key strikers had asked to play in goal. n In the second half we moved him onto the pitch and soon started to claw things back. In the end the game was a comfortable 7-3 win of the Gorse Fox's orange team.
This afternoon has seen the Gorse Fox doing a lot more work on the family tree. He has been trying to fill in some gaps in his records for one particular cousin's information. More details were found but he has not really got as much information as he would like.
