The Gorse Fox seems to have developed a cold. It's not really surprising after the cough that Ellie had last week but it is frustrating. Urban-Cub dropped Ellie off as usual and we went through the usual morning routine and got her off to school on time.
Once home and suitably caffeinated the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen pottered. He hit the study and continued to sniff about among the boughs of the family tree. There were no huge revelations but a few small items bubbled to the top and were duly recorded. As is so often the case, the trails seem to run cold in Ireland. It may be different if we had any clue at all regarding the part of Ireland, or better still, the Parish where these people lived but no, there are no clues... and the names that are being sought are far too common to provide any certainty.
The Gorse Fox has spent much of the afternoon on the phone to his Aunt. It is quite a while since we had spoken and so she had lots to tell in order to bring us up to date with the comings and goings in her family. So we now know who is at which seat of learning, who is starting a job next week, who runs his own record label, who changed college without telling his parents, who won't leave the house for fear of Covid, who is going the army, and so forth. It's nice to catch up.
