The Gorse Fox likes a bit of friendly banter, as long as it is humorous and makes everyone feel better for it. Because it was so sunny today, the Gorse Fox decided to wear his hat to protect his head now that his luscious locks are thinning so conclusively.

At Sainsbury's he had picked up a bottle of rum among the items in shopping. As he went to the SmartShop Scanner he started the checkout/payment process but needed authorisation from a member of staff for the alcohol.

As she wandered over, the Gorse Fox preempted her arrival with the quip "I have a bottle of rum here, but don't have any id to prove that I am over 18".

She looked him up and down. She smiled and retorted "Don't worry, the hat gives that away".

The Gorse Fox believes that was touché!
