The Silver Vixen was off out today. Along with one of her coven she was visiting the South of England Showground at Ardingly for one of the annual quilt shows. The Gorse Fox was left to his own devices... subject to whatever whims and fancies took Jasper's mind.
In the morning he headed off to football. He was glad to be playing indoors today. Though it was dry, there was a bitterly cold wind. We had a nice 5-a-side game and the Gorse Fox was picked for the Orange team. Though we gave away the first two goals, we soon took a grip on the game and by half time were 4-2 ahead. The second half saw the score stretch to 8-3. The Gorse Fox managed to score 3 goals today, so he was pretty pleased with the overall performance.
Back home he settled down to update one of the test computers (tawnyowl). The idea was to get it up to date then look at using it to send regular reminders to the Gorse Fox's Gmail account. As explained yesterday, he will have to remember to make deposits each month into Ellie's Premium Bonds. By get tawnyowl to send an email on the same day each month (with all of the details included) it will make it easier to ensure it is done.
A test has been set up for tomorrow morning, and assuming that works, then the proper reminders can be sent without fear of forgetting. The Gorse Fox is now wondering about generalising this in some way... but will have to sleep on that.
