Design

It had been cold overnight, but the house was nice and warm when Ellie woke us around seven. She came and played in bed with us for a while before we headed downstairs for breakfast.

Most of the morning was spent watching, monitoring, or playing with Ellie while Peppa Pig, Finding Nemo, and Moana played on the TV. The Gorse Fox made the most of the distractions and manage to get the slow cooker loaded up and bubbling away for later.

Pistol Pete came along just after lunch to collect Ellie and we then had a quick tidy round before the second architect came. She was a nice lady and came armed with a ticklish of items to cover. The Gorse Fox, in the meantime, had printed off various plans, requirements, and measurements so that she could leave with all the information that she might want. Again, Two Hats came in to join the conversation and see if there was an opportunity to look at things as a joint project. The architect left us and went to look at Two Hats' layout then headed off. We expect to hear from her with some estimates in the next few days.

As forecast, the temperature seems to be dropping. It's nice to nice and cozy indoors.
