Well it may mean that we resort to Plan D. Clearly the door is not going to play ball and though the Gorse Fox spent a while trying a few further ideas this morning, there is no way he can get the door furniture to fix properly.
It took a while but we found the original supplier of the doors and after an exchange of emails, we now know exactly what we need. The Gorse Fox now needs to order the door and get someone to come and hang it (that way it's not the Gorse Fox's problem if he doesn't get it quite right).
We have Urban-Cub and Ellie turning up later and they plan to stay for a few days. The Gorse Fox and the Silver Vixen popped in to Sainsbury's to top up on the things we might need and the Gorse Fox has just finished assembling a casserole which is now cooking "low and slow" in the oven.
Talking of cooking, the Gorse Fox has been looking at multi-cookers. They seem to provide a cross-over between slow-cooker and pressure cooker. There's a lot of hype surrounding them, but having read several articles, he can see that it would be a useful addition to the kitchen... so watch this space.
