Starting point in Bramber

The starting point for the walk was in the village of Bramber near Steyning. This was the first time the GF had been to the village which stands in the shadow of Bramber Castle built in 1070 a.d.

Bramber is a charming little place and the pub shown in the picture looked like a good place to finish the walk.
