Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt's new special advisor Paul Richards wrote the rule book on spinning - literally. His appointment coincides awkwardly with the publication of a new edition of his How To Be A Spin Doctor. In it, he admits his profession 'ranks alongside mugger, drugs dealer, or estate agent in public esteem'Gorse Fox thinks thinks the man has too high an opinion of himself. He would be better dropping down several layers to 'lawyers and government ministers"
