GF was waiting at the VW dealer when it opened this morning. He wanted them to check over the coolant systems again, to ensure all was well. Needless to say, the warning system behaved impeccably en route to the garage. The technicians pured over the car for about 45 minutes then they came back and confirmed all seemed fine, and that one of the coolant levels had been slightly down. No errors had been recorded in memory. Hopefully, this was the source of the problem, and there'll be no recurrence... but GF will be keeping his eagle eye on this.
