Done.

Ellie slept solidly for a good 12 hours. In theory, this should mean that we too slept solidly. In practice, Jasper decided that he should start his training for the National Trampolining Competition soon after 5:00. By 5:45 the Gorse Fox had had enough and went down to see whether he had forgotten to set the timer on the automatic feeder. He hadn't. In fact, if he had left it another 60 seconds it would have opened without intervention. He intervened. He snuck back to bed for another hour.

The usual morning routine kicked in. Breakfast, ablutions, school clothing (gym kit today) and then off to school. When we got back we had breakfast and got on with various domestic chores before the Gorse Fox  sat down with the accounts.

All of the business out of the way, he returned to the enigmatic Nan. He searched newspaper archives, he searched electoral roles, he search census turns, he search births, marriages, and deaths. He re-read the letters from the Silver Vixen's aunt. He has concluded that banging his head against a glass encrusted brick wall would be far more relaxing and probably satisfying in comparison. He has been unable to find one single corroborating fact all week.

He is well and truly done.

Enough.

That's it.

She can sit and wait in the notebook util the Gorse Fox next has the urge to have another swing at it.
