It's half term so the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen don't have to get up at a specific time so that we can greet Ellie. Well, that's the theory. In practice, for the last two mornings, Jasper has leapt onto the bed at 6:30 and demanding attention. Eventually, unable to ignore him, the Gorse Fox has got up and opened the door so that he go out out. The Gorse Fox has returned to bed, but but then is wide awake and unable to settle.
It was cloudy at first but by mid-afternoon the sun had broken through. There was an article in the news over the last day or so saying that Chichester is the sunniest coastal town/city in the country. The Gorse Fox can't remember the exact numbers but thinks it was around 1919 hours of sunshine per year, ahead of Brighton, Southend, Portsmouth and so forth. Here in and around Bognor Regis we actually recorded 1920.8 hours. Having said that, it looks as if we may get some rain tomorrow!
The morning was occupied with various chores (and some retro blogging). This afternoon has been quiet. The Gorse Fox has been scrambling about in the family tree. He has found various bits and pieces but hasn't made any significant finds.
