Blue

There is not a huge amount to report. The skies have been blue all day, the temperatures have been deliciously comfortable and the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen have just pottered around.

The Gorse Fox started with the customary walk to Urban-Cub so that he could accompany Ellie round to school. Ellie was in splendid form and charged down the stairs when he arrived. She shouted "Grandpa, grandpa!" then there herself from the fourth or fifth step up into his arms. That was a lovely start to the day!

While the Silver Vixen did some ironing, the Gorse Fox was looking into chelatest information from P&O. Basically, he had to decide on whether to let the cruise fees stand, or ask for a refund then pay again closer to the voyage. He feels that he may as well let things ride. That way he knows the cruise is already paid for and with interest rates as low as they are, he isn't really losing out. He also had to check that our travel insurance was adequate... and had at least £2,000,000 in cover for medical cover. This took a bit of tracking down, but the Gorse Fox finally found that we are covered for 1£10,000,000 so that should be adequate!

The DashCam has fallen off the windscreen again. The heat is clearly a factor here. The Gorse Fox peeled all the old adhesive off and affixed the new pad. It was fiddly, but hopefully it will do the trick.

The rest of the afternoon was spent looking at the Silver Vixen's part of the family tree. He managed to find some new data, but only for ancillary relations, not direct ancestors.
